Slimane vs Colette

We all know that the work of Hedi Slimane as creative director of Saint Laurent, receive a lot of criticism. Starting whit the change of the name, from Yves Saint Laurent to Saint Laurent Paris, the collections follow the same way, and some people think and say that Slimane is destroying a brand, image and legacy of its founder. He did not give much attention and followed the concept and the way he had in mind. So far so good, but now he severed relations with Colette, who is just one of the most important fashion stores of the world. This can be dangerous, because if you do not have your creations in the best stores and distributors, something is wrong. I'm a big fan of Slimane, since the days in Dior and I love him as a photographer, but I am afraid that he loses touch with reality because you are managing a business that deserves respect.
