In the way they dress , the language they use in their manners and fine manners , in their aesthetic codes is as if they were always rebelling against the conditions of the difficult life they lead in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo , a country where 46.5 % of the population lives below the poverty line . Maison Martin Margiela for Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour

Maison Martin Margiela reinterpreted iconic pieces from its archives for the Kanye West Yeezus Tour. Customised Haute Couture items included an elongated embroidered bomber jacket, a cape made of vintage military paraphernalia, trousers cut from a collage of printed t-shirts, amongst others. In addition, four handmade ‘Artisanal’ veils were especially created in our Parisian Atelier.
